Eno Bassey is a Nigeria figurative artist. A native of Akwa-Ibom state, who works and live in Lagos, Nigeria. She holds a Bachelor Degree in Philosophy, from Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ogun State. Eno began practicing art immediately after her national youth service and has been committed to continued self-improvement through practice and consistency. She intricately captures the essence of black culture, employing the use of acrylics as a major medium of expression. With skillful brushworks, she infuses life and vibrancy into her subjects. Drawing her viewers into a world where culture and creativity converge. Eno’s work tells compelling stories, inter-twining history and contemporary expressions, while celebrating the beauty of heritage and highlighting the theme of identity. Her works have been collected by art enthusiasts and private art collectors. Her work has been featured in few exhibitions Including the “African collective and African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) Secretariat, Davos 2024. “Re-imagining” with TrippleA Creative, Lagos in 2023; “Dream IT Possible”.
